small, colourful garden item

The item is colourful however the petal shapes are small and only hold a small volume of water. On a hot day the water evaporates very fast and it needs constant checking and topping up. I notice the bees still prefer our much deeper birdbath for drinking.

I bought the yellow and purple honeycomb bee baths. I’ve seen bees landing on them among the flowers and getting a drink.They look somehow natural among the flowers. A friend was interested when he visited and thought they were just ornaments.

FAQs

Can I attach it to a stake?

Yes! The bee bath comes with a black holder which has a hole in the middle the perfect size for a standard screw.

If you have a stake, you can screw/drill/hammer the back base to the top of it, place into the ground, then sit your bee bath on top.

How do I set it up my bee bath for best use?

Place it near flowers or in partial sun. They also float in bird baths, providing a safe landing alternative. Add clean water and refresh every 1–2 days in hot weather.

Do bees actually use bee baths?

Yes! Bees need shallow water sources. Our flower and honeycomb shaped wells prevent drowning and the bright colours attract thirsty pollinators.

Is it safe to leave outside in the sun/rain?

Absolutely. The PETG material is weatherproof, UV-resistant, and made for Australian conditions.
